All That I Am

The All That I Am series, was created in 2012. This series was my first of my artworks created on a circular form. This collection consists of four circular collaged canvases titled: All That I Am, All that Is, All That Was, and All That is Constructed.

Collectively this series refers to the actual physical materials I construct with such as fabric and or other textile-based materials. Additionally, the works and titles refer to spiritual and metaphysical conceptual aspects of my artwork that I create with. This series is an abstracted acknowledgment of All That I Am past, present and future possibilities. It is an extension of the belief that I create with all that I have access to spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally.

I purposely encased each aesthetic discussion in a circle to represent the importance of our cells and their regenerative power as it relates to our thought patterns and to give forth a spiritual and or elemental foundation for them. The artwork All That Is Constructed, refers to my belief in working with a wide range of materials and textiles to symbolize the need to recycle and to further acknowledge and investigate the consequences of our actions.
